Lydia is a Polish Ravnos, Khulai's sister. She´s a blond girl, very talkative and sociable. Her attitude is sweet and she's an open-hearted person who constantly seeks to apply the Catholic ethics she learned from her family. She´s the main leader of the community of gypsies and immigrants in the Marzhan poor areas. Lydia has great mediation skills to resolve conflicts. She organizes cultural activities and teaching for the children. She came with her brother with a group of Gypsies fleeing from Poland. It seems she had serious troubles with the Polish regime and for this reason she strongly fears the near presence of the Council of Moscow, and avoids dealing with it directly.
