In his breed form, Stands-Against-The-Storm appears as a tall wolf with dark gray fur and bright yellow eyes.



He wears his human skin regularly, in part due to the ease it provides for carrying the Ironhammer named "The Spirit Survives," an old Get of Fenris fetish inherited from his cousin and former pack alpha Aegis-of-Truth. Aegis, alongside all three other packmates and many other garou fell during a great battle at the heart of a hurricane in 1919.

His Fenrir ancestry is apparent in Homid, looking much like many Scandinavian immigrants to the area. His hair and beard grow in a dirty, yellow blond and are kept long. His eyes are blue and often betray haunted looks when it seems no one is looking. Stands is not known for his smiles or for an effusive personality.

Throughout the year, he wears simple, casual clothing of rugged construction that can survive for days or even weeks in the wilderness. During cold months, he wears an assortment of furs, many of which once belonged to his late cousin.
