Tau Dark-Words (Adren)

Tau has, on occasion, been mistaken for his own younger brother, or perhaps cousin. Not that he has either relation in the first place let alone having one of them handy. He seems to have two remarkably similar homid forms. One is the size of a young man of average build and slightly below average height. The other is almost six and a half feet tall and easily weighs two hundred fifty pounds, most of which is muscle. Aside from the size differences, and subtle changes in features due to differing amounts of muscle mass, they could be the same human. Tau moves about the world, at least the one occupied by homids, human kin, and regular humans, almost exclusively in the taller of these two shapes by night and the less obtrusive by day.

He has straight black hair, and dark eyes. The former is kept long enough to tie back and the latter are usually shielded behind mirrored sunglasses. His skin tone marks him to the knowledgeable as having descended from northeastern African ancestors. Of course, all that matters to most people in the states is that he looks brown. He's been mistaken for someone of Mexican, Columbian, Puerto Rican, Saudi, Iraqi, and the extremely classy "terrorist" ethnicity, just to name a few, numerous times in the past. To Garou, his features clearly mark him as a Silent Strider of good breeding.

When moving about outside a Caern in homid, Tau wears comfortable, rugged clothing. The sort that can survive travel, wilderness, hitchhiking, and still look decent on the far side. Jeans are common, with t-shirts in warm weather and things with longer sleeves and better insulation when it starts to get cold. His feet are typically covered with well-worn hiking boots.

When in Lupus or the Crinos form of his birth, he has sleek, black fur and bright yellow eyes. The former looks to be at least as much jackal as wolf while the latter is reminiscent of Anubis. The likeness is not perfect, leaving it quite clear that that his is merely Garou and not actually a god.

In addition to the bad habits of indulging in his tribal wanderlust quite often in the past and listening to voices only a handful of others could hear -let alone have the stones or capacity to act on them-, he smokes. He knows it's not a great practice and has tried to quit several times to no avail. Instead of buying the highly-questionable branded death sticks, he makes a nod to Garou sensibilities and obtains tobacco leaves from safe, reliable sources and rolls his own.
