With her mother's soft gray-blue eyes and a slightly crooked front tooth, Bailey Henderson has been complimented all her life on some of the softer pieces of her appearance. There were plenty of people who thought to compliment her on these attribute growing up, as though it was something she'd worked hard at and deserved to be recognized for. And though her face may have been something many deemed to be 'classic', Bailey herself is far from it. Much to her father's aggravation, Bailey chose to pass on a scholarship and acceptance to the college he'd been teaching at for most of her life in favor of attending an art school with lofty dreams of scenic design. Often, she'd spoken openly to her father and older brother about her desire to work on theater sets, essentially creating new worlds for actors to explore with varied and unique characters.

A few months working on set design, however, made Bailey rethink her plans simply based on the fact that the cash wasn't high enough or consistent enough to hold down the basics like an apartment of her own and steady payment of bills. And so she searched for an additional job, first working in a tattoo parlor creating designs and then eventually landing in Heather Emerson's bakery. By that point, Bailey had already completed one full arm sleeve with the help of a tattoo artist she'd gotten to know well while working in his shop (https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/originals/27/d7/1f/27d71fa513c2c3f36df114e3a79efced.jpg) and it had been obvious that Heather had been taken aback and reluctant to hire the girl at all. But a promise to wear long sleeves when working front of house and a quick glance through Bailey's portfolio and a description of the work she'd done on sets had made a very reluctant Heather rethink her initial rejection and she had timidly taken Bailey under her wing to teach her the ins and outs of cake decorating and running a business, two ventures Heather had commented more than once that Bailey seemed to be a natural at.

At present, she currently works full time at Heather's bakery and spends her weekends helping a local theater group paint and design sets for their semi-annual productions.
