Another veteran of the First World War, Sergeant Major Harper suffered a serious injury to his leg from a German artillery shell in 1918 and has only recently been recalled to service from the reserves.  While not suitable for frontline duty, Harper is widely regarded as a genius with small arms and serves as the unit armorer.
