Lann

Book 1
A fighter descended from crusaders of the First Mendevian Crusade that were exposed to the concentrated warping magics of the Worldwound, Lann is an aberrant unflatteringly referred to as a 'mongrelman', though his kind tend to prefer the terms Underkin or the Inheritors. Lann was captain of the fighters in the underground settlement of Neathholme and was instrumental in guiding the heroes out of the caves and toward the exit into Kenabres. In return, he asked that the heroes bring his people's plight and desire to fight for their city to whoever would listen. With his request being accepted and his fighters being recruited in the assault against the Gray Garrison, he found himself the liaison between his people and the commanders of the Crusades.

Book 2
Since joining Terendelev's Triumph on the mission to retake the fallen city of Drezen, Lann has made great use of his days skulking around in the dark of the underground tunnels of Kenabres in scouting for the army. He's settled into Anevia's right-hand-man in many respects and is more often than not off scouting ahead of the army. Now that they've arrived in Drezen, he's been working to set up a counter-information network behind the scenes to thwart any spies the Abyssal forces holding the citadel of Drezen might send their way.
