Varissa is a young Lamae woman who has recently begun to travel in the world at large.  She was born to her mother, Kara, in the Lamae Village of Sepentra and when she reached the age of sixteen Varissa felt the call of Sivanah as so many of her kind had and left the village to roam the world for a time.  Varissa eventually found her way to Varissia and traveled with one of the caravans for a time as she began to find her place in the world.
Over the next several years Verissa began to develop magical talents, as many of her kind did naturally, and found that, when used with her nigh unnatural beauty, she could manipulate people well.  She eventually left the caravan and began traveling again using her skill with illusions and enchantments to get by with minimal trouble and her coils to crush things when guile wouldn’t work.
