His name is Adam Braunhauer, and he can turn into a large, shaggy monster that resembles a bear. His nickname was inevitable, really. Braunhauer was already an antisocial and violent felon when the Shadow Weave hit. He Erupted during a prison riot at San Quentin and promptly escaped, carving a destructive swath through the San Francisco area until he was stopped by The Fabulous Five, America's first Abnormal vigilante group. Since then, he's been in and out of jail, until he wound up as part of Project Prometheus. He escaped with the rest of the Dirty Dozen and fled into the forests around Drake City, where he remained until his recapture by The Watchmen. He's currently incarcerated at Blackstone Island Penitentiary.
