Harpax ex Tytalus

"From conflict, growth."

Harpax is a Caucasian male in his late 20's.  He has rather shortly cropped brown hair, with a neatly trimmed beard to match.  He's tall, standing about six feet and change.  He has a fairly skinny frame, possessing very little discernible muscle at all.

He's usually dressed in practical, rugged clothing that allows for ease of movement, with green being seemingly always the predominant color for some reason.  The only real notable thing about his outfit is the silver amulet with the engraving of a labyrinth of two joined key-spirals, one turning left, the other right that he wears openly on his neck.  It seems to be some sort of variation of the symbol for House Tytalus.

Finally, there's just something... off about Harpax.  Sleepers tend to avoid his presence, finding him rather off putting, though they can never really seem to explain why.  Animals tend to shy away from him as well, it seems that they find him just as unsettling as humans do.

The following is available to those with sufficient Lore skills:

For those familiar with the Awakened, Harpax's 'weird vibes' are a telltale sign of Hermetic Magi.  Called "the Gift", it's something they've struggled with for over a thousand years.

His name is a reference to one of the two 'joint' primi of the house during the 1200's.  He no doubt chose the name after passing his gauntlet to reference the fact that the Order was at something of a crossroads, stuck between traditionalists and those like him that felt they needed to adapt or die (echoing similar sentiments in the 1200's).  The green he wears is another reference to the original Harpax, as the primus' supporters often wore the color to denote their support.

His amulet denotes his membership in the Titanoi.  They Titanoi are the spirit summoning tradition that the House was founded on.  Unfortunately, it didn't take long for some members to realize that they could easily use their talents to summon and bind demons.  Sadly this would happen a number of times over the centuries, with rather predictable results each time.  In short, they're not very well liked by fellow Hermetics, especially inside House Tytalus.  And yet Harpax wears it openly, as if daring others to say something... which in and of itself is very much in keeping with the attitudes of the House.
