Naya Beaubier

THE BASICS

Name: Anna Bella Beaubier

Nickname: Naya

Occupation: Madame, Sparrow keeper

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION

Gender: Female

Age: 29

Hair: Black

Eyes: Blue

Distinguishing Marks: A dozen love bites from the errant arrowhead or knife tip. Naya also has a large, crude tattoo on the inside of her left wrist, a compass and a cutlass, to honor her lost brother.

General Appearance: Fierce, imposing, intense. Whether dressed for sea or land, battle or banquet, Naya commands attention and respect. In formal wear she is statuesque and serpentine, in armor she is brutal, relentless and terrifying. Naya has no unique style, rather she adjusts to the demands of an event. Despite this ability to adapt, she is most comfortable in a chest plate and boots, a cutlass on her waist and a crossbow in her hands.

HISTORY

Personality: Naya is a strategist, thoughtful and precise. She wastes no words, no time, no effort. Everything she does has a purpose, is part of a larger goal, and she will not engage with a person who cannot be used or useful. She is shrewd, confidant, a natural born leader. When she sets her sights on something she wants, there is nothing in this world or any other that can stop her. While some may find Naya's strength off-putting, she has proven herself multiple times in battle. She is loved by her men, and feared by her enemies.

Sexual Preferences: Virginal.

House (Major or Minor House): Former House Beaubier.

About Your character: Naya is the youngest of six. Though she was the only female in the litter, her parents noticed a fire in her that would not be quelled by harpsichords and needlework. So, when she was old enough to stand, she began training beside her brothers in the art of naval combat. By the time she was fifteen, and it was clear her skill might one day surpass even Tiberon, she was given her first assignment on a trade cog.

The trade cog turned into a picard, which turned into a trade galley, which eventually turned in to an entire war fleet. She married twice, and twice she was widowed. She was nearly inseparable from her brother Tiberon, who was not only her hero, but her closest friend. Right up until the mysterious disappearance of his carrack on a diplomatic mission to Jorvik. The Grand Duke's presumed death ignited a war between herself and Grand Duchess Delphine. Though she lacked evidence, Naya intuitively knew the Grand Duchess was somehow involved with Tiberon's missing vessel.

In the past several years, Naya has been commanding the largest war fleet Breiton has ever seen. Meanwhile, she has been obsessed with tracking her brother's whereabouts, and making Delphine suffer for Tiberon's fate.
