Adunaphel Lurue-nor

Name: Adunaphel Lurue-nor (nee Melandris)

Background: Adunaphel was born in 1472 near Arabel, a happy accident of a blessed reunion of a minor noble husband and wife after the Goblin War. Her parents, Beregun and Kendrissa, had fought hard to maintain his small Barony in the fighting. Sadly, much of what he ruled over were in ashes after the war. He and his wife did their best to heal the lands, rebuilding the hamlets and villages in his lands and focusing on his family. A minor lord if largely well regarded locally. Sadly, as things were mostly recovered, Netheril brought their attention to Cormyr.

She had a relatively happy and active childhood as the youngest of nine children and a fair gap in age between her and her nearest sibling. Still, she found a place in her home and within the barony as the mindful and adventurous girl. She was 14 when Netheril attacked and encircled Arabel, her and her mother escaping before the siege. Initially fleeing to Marsember, only to have to flee, again. It was a defining year for her. Between stories she had heard from the Goblin Wars and living through a war of her own, she found herself drawn to the role of protecting those she loved.

Her family's intent to sponsor her attendance to a Monastery as a cloistered Cleric, she found a new calling. An encounter with members of the Order of the Unicorn changed the course of her future. They were part of the relieving forces that broke the siege of Arabel, Suzail and, finally, Marsember. She saw them in action and could only imagine herself in their role. Protecting innocents and the land from destruction.

Her father having been killed in the fighting, left her eldest brother, now Baron, Gannik, to manage the family and lands. Fortunately for her, he approved and allowed her to be sponsored by the Order at sixteen. She has been training hard these last five years and has finally been approved to start her career within the Order and the Adventurers' Guild.

Her family is supportive, but all very busy with their own lives.
