Character: Lora Falla is one of the Amayar People from the Isles of the Sea Folk.

The Amayar are physically shorter and much fairer than the Atha'an Miere, with lighter hair and blue or hazel eyes, indicating that they are not kin to their sea-bound friends.

Description: She is 5'2" and 110 lbs. Her eyes are hazel, her hair is dark brown, and what you see of her skin is deeply tanned (rather than the dark brown of the Atha'an Miere).

She is bareheaded, wears a plain dress with a few unfamiliar details sewn on, seems to be wearing dark trousers underneath, and is wearing soft shoes that might give good traction on shipboard rather than stiff protection on land like boots. Her long hair is "up" and is styled with jewelry of various colors, using clips, pins, and clasps, in a distinctive way.

What stands out is her jewelry. Unlike the Atha'an Miere, her nose is not pierced, but her ears are in many places, each by a small clasped pin of metal to which is attached various colored stones. On her hands are rings and on her wrists are bracelets, all seem similar to her ear jewelry.

She has the following weapons among her possessions: javelin, rapier, short bow, dagger and sap, and has neither armor nor a shield.

She has a package or parcel with her that looks like canvas.

History: Lora was apprenticed in the family jewelry business before it was discovered that she could use the One Power. As there was no Amayar channeling tradition, she was apprenticed to an Atha'an Miere Windfinder.

Utterly failing in anything on the sea, usually seasick and deathly afraid of drowning, it was agreed that Lora be released from her position. She decided to head for the White Tower, but has not yet made it there in the following years.
