History (Give us some info on who you are, why you are here. If you are a supernatural being, perhaps how you came to be?):
Born after the Salem witch trials to Mary; a pardoned accused witch in 1693. Her mother was only pardoned due to being pregnant though her father wasn’t so lucky. He was convicted and hanged leaving her mother a widow and Eva fatherless before she was born.

Life wasn’t easy after so many were sentenced to death. No one in their town treated Mary or Eva kindly. Bullied for being a child of a former witch and she had no friends. To be honest they weren’t wrong. Mary was a witch. A healer with a big heart that got her convicted in the first place by resurrecting her neighbors stillborn baby. Instead of thanking her outed her to the village. After her husband Peter was hanged she had to survive without help on the edge of her village. Passing down her white magic. All she had was her daughter and all seemed right in the world.

Mary had Eva. Eva had Mary.

She blossomed into a very lovely and pious girl as she tried to fit in. They continued to go church even if they weren’t welcome. The village never truly welcomed them back but tolerated them. That was until now.

Evangeline had blossomed at the young age of 16 and with her looks even in the most modest of frocks she unknowingly “bewitched”  a large number of the township boys. She was already singled out by her unusual eyes and her pardoned mother but bewitching the boy’s was the last straw. Parents complained about her corruption of their innocent males and it didn’t help her case when Eva was caught with her Scarlett letter; Ezekial Pastor’s son kissing out of the confines of marriage.

Dragged away by force by the adults of the town and jailed. Her mother soon followed since  Mary had to be the reason her daughter bewitched his son. Ezekiel lied to save face. How could his father know that he chose to sin with the witch’s spawn. He’d be disowned!

Evangeline pleaded and begged for them to listen, but it was of no use! The townsfolk locked them away. At first together, but mother and daughter were soon separated. Apparently they never truly thought Mary was innocent and after seeing her beautiful daughter with the devil’s eyes and bewitching enchantments she had on the young men of their home she HAD to be in cahoots with Satan himself.

Years passed.. Pastor Good kept them prisoners for years. He did his best to exorcise the demons he thought possessed the pair.  Lashings, starvation, hours of prayer, swimming tests, you named it he tried it.

Even separated they both pleaded innocent and their devotion to God and Christ. That still wasn’t enough for the church to release them.

Pastor Good was convinced beyond a shadow of a doubt Evangeline’s eyes were a mark of her pact with Satan that she forged in the belly of her mother. He spent a good 2 years trying to get Mary to say Evangeline was the spawn of Satan. Not once did she break.

Patience wore thin in their town. Why was he keeping Satan’s messengers alive? Signs were all pointing to the women especially after a terrible drought. They might have overlooked it but the entire harvest was devastated. Who could they blame for this? God would never turn their backs on them right?

Unless this was justice for harboring Satan’s disciples. Something had to be done! They kept them alive and God must be very angry with them. All it took were angry townspeople storming the church. They complained how even their husbands desired the young temptress. Even being locked away her powers sealed into the hearts of pious men.

THIS HAD TO END!

Pastor Good agreed. He too had become obsessed with the young witch. His impure thoughts must have distracted him just as his son had been afflicted. When night fell he had to do it. They had no choice.

Mary was dragged out kicking and screaming with Eva not far behind. The pyre and stake set.  Ezekiel was made to restrain his temptress to prove his allegiance to God.

Under the full moon Mary continued to plead innocence as she was set ablaze as Evangeline was made to watch.  No matter how loud she begged it fell on deaf hell ears as the crowed cheered. The smell of burnt flesh; her mother’s burning flesh was something she’d never forget.

Ezekiel took pity on his first love and as the crowd was immersed in one death he slipped away covering her mouth to keep her from making too much noise.

Two babes slipped into the woods as he unbound her. Maybe he couldn’t see her die or he still loved her but he let her escape into the night.

All alone.
In the cold.
In the dark.
Orphaned.

The 18 year old ran as fast as her emaciated legs could carry her. All she has was her dirty Puritan dress and rosary with her. There was no telling how far she ran, but she never looked back.

Collapsing in a field she gave up. Renouncing her faith in God. It was then she chose to create the ultimate sin. Suicide.

Slicing her wrist with her rosary she laid in the cold, damp and dark meadow. As she slipped into darkness a voice brought her back.

“He has cast you out too my child. God forsakes what he doesn’t understand. Your savior gave you power and yes punished you unfairly. Join me. Take my hand and you’ll never feel the cold touch of God again. Become one with me and make them ALL pay.”

Lucifer heard her renouncing her faith and instead of letting her perish gave her a choice. Power, immortality, knowledge in exchange for pledging herself to him. All he needed was her soul.

Without hesitation she took it. Following Lucifer into Hell she became his disciple. Sealed the deal by fornicating with the dark lord himself giving him her virginity and her soul.

Eva has no idea how long she spent in Hell but when she returned to the mortal realm years passed. She  aged slightly but her powers were stronger and she only retained very little white magic from her mother.

Retiring to her town she was hellbent on revenge. First was the aged Pastor Good. Eva tortures his wife in front of him until he gave his eternal souls to Satan. She killed her anyways. Life isn’t fair after all.

Next was the town. Honestly she wanted to burn it down but instead she cursed it. All that lived there would die there. If they tried to leave they’d drop dead instantly. Children would grow up but forever be barren unless they sold their souls to Satan. That was the only way.

Let them suffer after all they did to her! Once her task was done she moved on. Lived the life as a nomad and traveling. Never staying too long in one place since she was immune from aging. Immortality was bestowed upon her by the dark lord himself though being young and focusing on revenge she didn’t read the fine print.

The one thing that could destroy her; she lost the night she committed suicide. Her mother’s rosary that slit her wrists as she renounced The father, the son and the holy spirt.

If anyone found it it could end her and sent her straight to hell. Too bad she lost track of it centuries ago on the outskirts of Salem.....

Gathering souls people easily sold for her wish granting trinkets. Watching the world turn year after year. Century after century. Seeing the world as she helped Hell’s army grow.

Eventually finding herself in a little place called Belcoast where many realms meet. This is going to be fun....

“What do you desire? I can give you almost any desire for a price...” Laying the death card in reverse she winced. “It’ doesn’t mean you’ll die but....one can never be too careful.” She continued  as the hermit card right side up was next. “Hmm....that’s interesting indeed...” about to flip the third card her customer put her hand up to stop.

“Stop! I don’t want to die alone. I hear you can make wishes come true. I want to get married and have a family. Give me a charm for that. I’ll pay any price!” The spinster ordered. How could she refuse. “I can do but it’ll only cost you your soul.” She said flatly. It wasn’t like she was lying. Her customer laughed. “That’s it? Deal! I’m atheist so sure why not!”
Free charm here she comes! Eva smirked. A deal was a deal as she reached into her bag and pulled out an opal bracelet. Muttered an incantation as she waved her hand over it. “Wear it and keep in on for 3 days. You’ll meet your husband at a cafe. Don’t take it off or you’ll break the spell. You’ll bear children and live a happy life but remember everything comes with a...” cut off as the pushing 40 year old cut her off. “My soul. I get it!” Snatching the bracelet and she tossed money on the table for the tarot reading. “Keep the change! If this doesn’t work I’ll be back!” The rotund woman scolded. “It’ll work. Trust me.” Eva said as she watched her leave. “Even in this century they are just as dumb. One more for Lucifer my lord. All in a days work.”
