Age: Unknown. Her species hails from deep space so things like the passage of time are hard to ken. She believes, based on her growth and powers, that she's lived around 15,000 revolutions of this world around its sun. When she's in her humanoid form she has a look that can appear young one moment, timeless the next.

Species: Her people have been called Ethereal, Cosmic, Star, or Stellar Dragons. All are equally descriptive and of little import to them.


Powers: She has two breath weapons she can use. The first is absolute zero like the void of space, the second is the roiling plasma at the heart of the hottest stars. She's proficient in the magic of her people which allows her to do things like gently illuminate an area in the light of the moon or render a location as black and cold as space itself, amongst other things. She feeds off the light of the sun itself so has no need for food or drink though she finds the taking of such to be pleasurable.

Appearance: In her humanoid form she's a tall, willowy, elfin woman with night-black hair and eyes that shine with stars. She is beautiful in a haunting, supernatural manner and moves with a natural grace. Her voice echoes with the music of the spheres: her words begin to whisper around her before she speaks and linger on once she has finished. The effect is quite beautiful though some find it disturbing.

In her true form she's a massive dragon as black as the space between stars though, across her body and wings, there shine celestial bodies such as stars and ion clouds. When she spreads her vast wings galaxies and nebulae are revealed so when she flies at night it's as if the sky itself has come alive and moves. Her eyes glow with the light of stars and galaxies.

In both forms the colour of her eyes change with her moods and tend to echo the temperature of stars. Purple indicates surprise and is a colour not oft-seen from her.

Personality: Star can be arrogant and haughty as befits a dragon but, and some may find this paradoxical, she can also be quite humble, even modest. She is quite generous with her friends (old and new) and loved ones. She can be quick to anger and is capable of acts of horrific violence but that is most unusual and is most often the result of someone provoking her by going after those she loves. She is most often kind and approachable and has a soft spot for children.

History: Annastarria gestated in the heart of a star like all of her kind and fed upon its energy until, and after, she was born. She left the cold cinders behind and began flying between the stars, feeding and growing (her people, to use scientific terms, use quantum tunneling to travel through the quantum foam so they don't violate relativity). Some travel for tens of thousands of years whilst others find a world that interests them and settle until such time as they get bored and move on. The energies of the world she came to settle on called to her across the vastness of space so she came to call this place home some 5,000 years ago and watched with impassive eyes as it came to be what it is now. She finds the variety of life here fascinating so she watches, listens, and learns. She may stay until she's reached the age of maturity in another few thousand years at which point she will spread her wings, blot out the Sun and vanish once more into the depths of space.

Profession: Independently wealthy though she does dabble some in arts and antiquities. When one has been alive as long as she has one does tend to gather items of import. Wise investments means she is filthy rich.

Hobbies: Flying, acquisition of knowledge, music (she has a fondness for classical and knew Mozart, Bach, and Beethoven [She will vigourously deny being his Immortal Beloved], painting, and the finding, purchasing of artifacts looted from indigenous people all over the world as well as items stolen by the Nazis and returning them where they belong.
