Siobhan "Bean" Donnelly is a natural redhead whose hair color has changed more or less at her whim since she was 12. These days, it's mostly black. Bean's a wildly expressive woman of Anglo descent, pretty and charming but with indelible hints of the gauntness left by years on the street. She dresses as well as she can afford, but is usually fractionally too disheveled for the current setting. When she laughs, she laughs with her eyes. When she smiles, that's not always the case. A life-long Bostonian, she's able to make her accent (and a surprising number of others) come and go as she pleases.
