Kyle Bluepines

The first thing that people notice when Kyle comes into the room is not Kyle. Despite being just under 7 feet tall (slightly under average for a Firbolg), Kyle seemingly blends into the background in any room.

And it goes without saying that Kyle doesn't prefer rooms. He prefers to be outdoors with the smells of the forrest in his somewhat large nose and the sounds of the wild in his definitely oversized ears. He even looks a bit like the forest, with mossy colored green-brown beard and hair, and skin the color of lichen and bark.

Kyle is also quiet. Very quiet. There are some who know Kyle to go for weeks without saying a word.

Kyle wears the simple clothes that one might typically associate with a person who is accustomed to nights sleeping under the stars and days spent tracking elk and moose. At each side are shortswords whose handles are crafted from the antlers of a giant elk that was felled with the longbow over his shoulder.

Kyle didn't choose the adventuring life, it chose him. More accurately, the elders of his village, concerned about the growing threat from orcs and goblinoids, chose four males from the tribe to go out and become warriors so that they could return and defend the majestic blue pines of their forest homeland. Each warrior was sent in a compass direction and instructed to travel for one year. Kyle was sent west, and that is how he found Verdee.
