Robert is roguishly handsome, with a whip ord body that belies its strength. He is slightly taller than 5 feet, with black hair and a moustache.

Robert is the 3rd son of a farmer -  whose uncle managed to reach the dizzy heights of Knighthood.  He has been trained for a life in the military - but would much rather mess about on the dueling table - although he understands that he is never going to be a top class duelist.  After trying all of the dueling styles -  he decided that a Rapier and Buckler is probably his best bet.

His uncle is Sir Charles Samuels. Independent land owner and farmer from north of Restov.
