Gedd's half-orc heritage is evident in his appearance but he still looks ruggedly handsome. His well-worn clothes and tanned skin mark him as an outdoorsman, while the longsword at his hip and the bow over his shoulder suggest he would be well able to look after himself when required.

The faded brown leather gloves he wears have a silver symbol on the back, best described as a melting hourglass. The tattoo on his right arm may sometimes be glimpsed beneath the short sleeve of his chain shirt - a stylised green dragon outlined in black with red highlights.

He is seldom far from his sister Berta and brother Wyn, or from the black raven called duNoir that always seems to keep an eye on him.

Together, the Roth family - Wyn, Berta and Gedd - have settled in Tusk City where they own and operate the Dragon's Den tavern.
