Retired warrior who suffered a debilitating injury during the last campaign against the Darr-Nadon forces.  Ulgar's left leg is stiff as a result of an ogre's blow which cleaved his shield in twain and nearly completely removed the leg in the follow through.  His shield arm and left leg both bear scars from the encounter.

Ulgar stands 6'2 and is broad-shouldered despite having lost most functionality in his left arm and manages to do quite well with The Gilded Thrush as a family business.
