Jankla was raised in a small survivalist colony on the forest moon of Endor. It was an isolated but peaceful existence until the empire arrived to establish an outpost. At first, the colony was able to remain hidden from the patrol ships, or perhaps the imperial buracracy just needed time to process their existence before acting. Either way, the storm troopers arrived in the end, destroying the colony and it's inhabitants. In the smoke and confusion Jankla was able to escape into the dense forest where his skills were put to the test.
