Hant Vexlar came to the Outer Rim to escape the memories of the
destruction of his home planet of Alderann at the hands of the Empire. At the time of the
disintegration of Alderann, Hant was away on Ralltiir performing some banking tasks for his father.
When he heard about Alderaan, he was devastated. He spent some time wandering the Core, but
the overwhelming presence of the Empire just brought him further into despair. With the
destruction of the Death Star and the Galaxy in flux, Hant decided to make a change as well
and headed to the Outer Rim to seek work and start a new life.
