Alisandra

First Lieutenant Alisandra a’Joli of Second Marine Expeditionary, Third Infantry Division, Warhammer Company.

Alisandra is an athletically built human woman, neither petite nor voluptuous. She moves like someone trained for combat rather than dance. She has the bearing of a soldier, and if in formal company, the uniform as well. Even out of uniform she clearly has the love and respect of the men and women in her command. She has chin length red hair and bright green eyes. In casual settings she dresses “Pirate Chic,” a bandana, leather armor under loose fitting shirt and pants, a leather vest, a wide black belt from which hangs a rapier, and rolled top black boots which come to just below her knee. In colder climates she has an oiled seal skin long coat. She also carries a prominent horn under her arm made from a ram’s horn.

While her demenour is normally no non-sense, she has a decent sense of humor and can take a joke as well as bite back with one of her own. While not very “book” smart, she has a lot of worldly experience and is wise beyond her years. As a Marine she is trained in combat techniques and tactics, but as an officer she is only trained with light armor and a small selection of weapons. She makes up for this with a wider selection of skills, particularly interpersonal skills (ie leadership skills). Her training and experience make her a valuable ally and a fearsome opponent.

3ID (3rd Infintry) has Alisandra’s company, called “Warhammers” not because they carry such weapons, but because they are Amphibious Assault Marines, as opposed to Boarding Marines whose primary function is ship to ship combat. The Warhammers began calling themselves this perhaps two centuries ago, as a very respected General gave a well remembered pre-battle speech in which he said, “and our Warhammers, our warriors who pound, smash, and crush our opponents shall be the first in and last out...” and from then on they have called themselves Warhammers Company. Their company began putting patches on their armor with a pair of crossed Warhammers. Eventually this became a flag as well.
