In quiet times he can be seen carefully examining a silk scarf, colored a deep burgundy and marked with the seal of a noble family, though not his own. The traveling clothes he wears are finely made of supple leathers and heavy cloth, and his boots are well maintained. He carries a yew wand tipped with an oddly shaped crystal that focus and direct his spells.
