Description
Ehrendil's general appearance is typical of most wood elves. His black hair is long and usually tied back. His green eyes contrast sharply with his coppery-brown skin. His face is marred by a scar along his left jawline; a souvenir from a Neverwinterite thief's knife.

Ehrendil prefers simple linen and wool clothes; he would not stand out in a farming village. When necessary, he wears dark leather armour and knee-high boots covered by a mottled-green travel cloak. His longbow is rarely out of his hand, a quiver rests on his right shoulder. He will also carry a rapier on his belt and a dagger in his boot.

Backstory
Ehrendil was raised in the village of Reitheillaethor in the heart of the High Forest. His skill with the bow came from many years of hunting and defending his home from the denizens in the forest. He came into contact with druids and rangers, who introduced him to the Emerald Enclave.

Early in his adult life, he travelled about the Sword Coast and spent several years in Neverwinter where his hunting skills proved useful in tracking and catching thieves and thugs who targeted the working class in the city.

Eventually he returned home. A skirmish with some fiends that escaped from the ruins of Hellgate Keep piqued his interest in dealing with the many portals throughout the Forest. He spend several year learning from many within the forest as well as in Silverymoon, eventually becoming a protector known as a Horizon Walker.
