History: There is nothing extraordinary about Faydra’s childhood, except she was very close with her older brother, Mark.  As they grew up and moved away from the family home they bought an apartment together.  Unbeknownst to Faydra, Mark had got himself involved in some small time money laundering and protection racketeering for the local mafia.  Nothing major, but he landed himself in jail.  The mafia found out that he had been pocketing some money for himself and so to gain back that money they put Faydra to work on the Island to pay off her brother’s debts.
