History: Nyx was born in Boston, Massachusetts, in 1992. Her real name is Jillian Lowell but these days she goes by Nyx, after the Greek Goddess of the night. If anyone calls her Jillian she'll ignore them.

Her family are Boston Brahmins, 'old money', have been prominent in Boston since the British were in charge. Her family tree has Ambassadors, Congressmen, and Generals in it. Her father is a Judge, her mother died in an automobile accident when she was eleven. She has one brother, three years older than her. He's an attorney now, will most likely follow in his father's footsteps. She rarely speaks to her father or her brother, hasn't seen either of them for over two years.

She went to one of Boston's best private schools, then to Harvard. She was a Lowell, it was what Lowells did. She majored in partying, dropped out after a year. She expected her father to go ballistic, but he just told her that she was quote a disappointment unquote.

She went travelling, through Europe. She had her first SM experience in Berlin.
