Community Notoriety: Casper is arguably both myth and legend among the hunting community. While no living member of the "knowing community" can actually verify that they have actually met the woman, there is very little doubt in the fact that she is definitely on their side. She is the mysterious hostess of an hour-long program called "The Ghostly Forum", during which she transmits from, perhaps appropriately, AM 1313. Of course, those who are curious about that broadcasting license quickly discover that it isn't an actual station, or owned by any private or public entity. The times and dates that she broadcasts are never routine, which supports the commonly accepted theory that she's actually mobile almost always. Regardless of the varying broadcast times, she's always been prompt with her transmissions that she faithfully announces to her regular listeners. She is myth because there are hunters who claim they can remember their grandfathers mentioning Casper transmitting her Ghostly Forum as far back as the early twenties, which would put her at well over a hundred or so years old if that were the case. She is legend because she's obviously still out there doing her thing, and even old hunters swear it's the same person who's been broadcasting this whole time. Nobody knows or admits to knowing where she transmits from, but the theory is it's rarely the same place. She gives clues as to where those who have questions might make a drop, which is always in a different location and city anywhere within the United States. While there have been several attempts at spying or even catching the mysterious woman at those drops, so far nobody has knowingly done so. Yet, the questions posed are brought up within the next several broadcasts. She speaks about a plethora of things to her avid listening audience. She shares thoughts on possible hunts, tidbits of information about dealing with particularly nasty prey, and, of course, answers those queries she gets. She also has a certain knack for knowing a great deal about things that are otherwise not known, an ability that is most often revealed during her Honored Fallen segment in which she announces those who ended the good fight and hopefully moved on to greater glory.
