Mother

Name: Caldecott Alridge Trappe

Age: 64

Call Sign: Mother

Nationality: British

General Caldecott Alridge Trappe is the head of I.C.E. and it was his idea to form the organization as he saw the need for an international network of cooperating intelligence agencies working together to stop the villainous S.CORP.I.A.N and those in league with them.

At sixty-Four, Trappe is a General in the British Army and served his country with distinction in both World Wars. During WWII he earned one of his many Military Crosses for:

For conspicuous gallantry and resource while in command of the support company. Owing to thick fog the leading company lost direction and failed to turn up. He led his company correctly into position and then made several personal reconnaissances under heavy machine-gun and rifle fire, and cleared up the situation. He captured the objectives without the assistance of tanks or artillery, and broke up a hostile counter-attack the following morning.

Two years after the first World War Trappe married his first love, Peggy Cartwright. Some years later he and Peggy had a child, a daughter and Trappe taught her everything that he knew about everything he knew. Unfortunately during a particularly stormy night, he lost Peggy in an automobile accident and was forced to raise their daughter alone. She became his world and he grew fiercely protective of her. Trappe does all he can to keep her safe.

During the rise of The Cold War in 1947, Trappe was returned to service and began work on a secret organization dedicated to protecting humanity and gathering (and sharing) intelligence. It was slow going as many countries had no interest in such a collaboration. It took him four years to get the United States on board but by that time, he had other countries interested in his fledgling organization and once the U.S. agreed, the other countries fell into place. It couldn't have happened fast enough for as the 60's rolled around so too did Cold War hysteria.

Now as a full fledged and recognized organization, I.C.E. has countless agents from around the globe and as 'Mother' Trappe oversees the day to day running's of I.C.E. and along with 'Father' plans what missions the various agents go on. He looks after each agent under his employ as he knows that they depend on him to keep them alive.
