Father

Name: Martha Claire Speakeasy

Age: 62

Call Sign: Father

Nationality: American

Lieutenant Colonel Martha Speakeasy is a United States intelligence officer. She first served her country during WWI as an unofficial asset. It wouldn't be until WWII that she truly shined. Speakeasy was one of the first women in the Women’s Army Corps and proved herself to be quite gifted in languages. So proficient was she that after her basic military training, she was sent to England for further training in cryptography. It was there that she met Caldecott Trappe and the two became fast friends.

After World War II ended, Speakeasy was promoted to the rank of Captain and was assigned to the Army's  Caribbean Theater, based at Flurry Heights in the Panama Canal Zone; she was the first woman to serve in active duty in that theater.

Given her fine work, Speakeasy was promoted to Major and deployed to Japan, where she continued to work in military intelligence.

In 1962, Speakeasy was recalled to service by the U.S. Army as a result of the Cuban Missile Crisis. She worked primarily in the role of de-briefing Cuban refugees, as well as defectors who were fleeing the Cuban communist regime.

It was here that she was reunited with Caldecott Trappe who convinced her to join I.C.E. and upon her acceptance she was promoted to Lieutenant Colonel and became his second in command.

She is a stern, but fair woman who works tirelessly to bring to justice those that would endanger the world while protecting the agents that risk their lives to stop S.CORP.I.A.N.
