Vendri is clearly a gnome. The height and white hair easily give it away. That assume one actually sees Vendri that is. When visible, he often makes jokes, has a wide smile, and his presence alone seems to add...maybe another 3 feet of height? Once in a while, a tiny woman with a bow appears on his shoulder, whispering and giggling as she does so.
