Nerissa moves swiftly, with the proverbial feline grace and silence of a cat with soft paws. At times, especially when the lighting is poor, she seems to pop up out of nowhere to startle her companions. An unnerving habit, but she doesn't seem to be aware of it. During the rare occasions that her face is not covered in the shadows of her hood, you can see that Nerissa is a human woman of nondescript age with shoulder-length black hair that hangs down listlessly. Her grey eyes are restlessly searching, seemingly looking into the shadows as if they were actually able to penetrate the darkness. Her skin is pale, like she hadn't seen the sun in a long time. One thing that immediately catches your eye is the cat she seems to be holding constantly on her arm. The feline is of normal size and its fur is black allover, save for a white mark in the shape of a lying crescent moon.

She doesn't appear to be wearing any armor and a pair of short swords and a hand crossbow are the only visible weapons. The short quiver, holding the bolts for the crossbow, is fastened to her left thigh. Her garb is simple, a dark grey cloak with a deep hood underneath which shadows seem to coalesce as if alive, making it difficult to determine what's hidden - intentionally or not. The woman also wears a well-made tunic of rust color and dark brown leather pants over simple black shoes made of soft leather.

An intricate platinum necklace with a large ruby hangs on a chain around her neck while a delicate golden circlet sits on her brow. She wears a heavy golden ring with what's probably a diamond stone and a platinum signet ring with onyx plating on her hands and a delicate charm bracelet on her left wrist. There is also an elaborately fashioned belt around her waist, three glittering moonstones set in its buckle. It is obviously not just a fashion statement, since it holds the scabbards of her swords and an ornate metal rod.
