There's a certain amount of politician in the man holding out his hand.   He's tall and well-built, with an easy smile that peeks out from
his facial hair.   He keeps it fairly well groomed with only a hint of rake.   He's like the trouble child in the area, always getting caught
with his hand in the cookie jar.  However, his charm isn't easily lost.   He wears fairly good clothing as well, the wear accentuating that
he may have been nobility at one time, but he's likely lost that privilege, and is living off what is left.   However, his hand  has the
wear of a swordsman, and he not without a nick or two here and there on his hands and face.

Generally he wears a well kept suit of platemail with an insignia laquered over on the shoulder.   He does proudly leave the Sun sign of Talos on his shield.   Obviously to be paired with his worn longsword as well.   One may be hard pressed to think he's anything other than a guard captain... even if he lacks the marks of station.
