Renee Danse gives every appearance of being normal.  In most ways, she is.  She teaches Literature in a small, private school in Maine, occasionally doing adjunct work at the local community college.  She is unmarried and lives in a decent but unpretentious one-bedroom apartment with her black pet cat, Sebastian.  She drives a two year old Nissan Altima, enjoys taking vacations in the summer, and occasionally dates, though rarely very seriously.  She earns a modest living from her employment and a handful of small, inherited investments that have proven very successful.  In her spare time, she is working on a novelization of the tragic life and death of Lady Jane Grey, England's Nine-Days Queen.

And sometimes she remembers things...things from pasts that have nothing to do with her own...
