Pellegrina Henshaw, like many of the others, sits on the town council. Pellegrina's main contribution to Stillwater is she sits on two advisory boards and runs the towns only bookstore, The Poisoned Pen.

Though she is eligible for AARP and approaching other senior discounts, she doesn't look like she should be a grandmother to eighteen year old Abijane "Abbie" Curry, who works in the bookstore with her.

Pellegrina is not a particularly friendly woman to those she considers beneath her. She lives for Abbie, who reminds her so much of her only son, Peter.  Other than the bookstore, Pellegrina can be found in the Rose Garden in the town park.
