Peter Chancellor is a well-known (if you like blockbuster thrillers, that is) author with three recent "Number 1 Bestsellers" to his name: -

Reichstag! - a dramatic retelling of the growth of Nazi-ism in 1930s Germany, told through the eyes of a dizzying array of characters.

Sarajevo! - a similar treatment of the events that led up to the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand and the beginnings of World War 1.

Counterstrike! - a contemporary thriller in which the CIA, in blatant disregard of its 1947 charter, becomes active in an American college town.

Now financially independent, Peter has left Washington DC in search of a quiet small town in which to settle, a base where he can write without distraction. It's rumoured that he has already begun work on his next book but there are few indications as to what it might be about.

He is single, 30-something, and was born and raised in Washington DC. However he seems to have been a fairly private person and has eluded a lot of the 'celebrity' status his writing success might have given him.
