General Appearance: Simon is six feet and stays fit through regular exercise, he can often be seen running in the morning before opening the store. Well-dressed and neat during business hours, he has been known to relax and dress more casually after closing shop.


HISTORY
Personality: At face, Simon is polite and friendly, with a quick smile and kind words to almost all he meets. He is possibly a little proud, but has been getting lessens on humility since moving back to town. He is intelligent, and lately focused on physical fitness.

About Your character: Simon Bennett is the son of Thomas Bennett (dec.) and Sarah Pikesdale Bennett Fairview, daughter of Benjamin Pikesdale. Simon grew up in Stillwater, until forced to move by his mother's second husband, who was looking to get out from under the thumb of his new father-in-law. Simon's high school years were hard on him as he watched his stepfather degenerate into a drunk who squandered what money they had with one failed venture after another. Through this, his grandfather stayed away until Simon needed his help.

Much to the surprise of his family, Benjamin Pikesdale attended Simon's high school graduation. It was the first time in over four years he had seen his daughter, and the disappointment and regret were clear. He made Simon an offer: Attend UNC for Pharmacy, Simon's desire, and Benjamin would help with finances, with the understanding he would return to Stillwater afterwards. Simon agreed.

Since that time Simon graduated with his doctorate of Pharmacy, moved back to Stillwater to work as the town's pharmacist in the old Drug store. Eventually, Simon purchased the Drug Store, now working for himself, and somehow his Grandfather too, which he still isn't certain how happened.

Simon is aware his grandfather is using him, and his other relatives, to both maintain and possibly regain influence in town. For himself, Simon enjoys life in Stillwater, where being the only Pharmacist makes him a bigger fish than he might otherwise be. Friendly, neighborly, some have begun to speculate he might have his eye on one day running for Mayor, and others wonder if he thinks to give his cousins competition for one day filling Benjamin Pikesdale's  seat.

Recently Simon disappeared from Stillwater, the official story being to marry a college sweetheart and run for local office, but he has returned, still single. If asked why he returned, Simon's standard reply is to start a Jasina Whitlock fanclub, that woman has the voice of an angel.

As a sign of his commitment to his family's legacy and aims, he has legally changed his name to Simon Pikesdale.
