About your Character:

Why is she in Stillwater:

Charlotte’s home in Stillwater is owned by a trust.  A home that was obtained as her commission from a recent asset acquisition with a private investor, whose family had obtained the property back in the roaring twenties.  That family had acquired the property at a Federal Government auction after its seizure by U.S. Customs and Excise. The seizure had stemmed from a raid on the property, the owners of whom were involved in smuggling and racketeering.  For Charlotte, she took this property as commission because of an intriguing personal link to the original owners. In an odd way, the property is now back in the family.  Woven luck, or serendipity?

The curiosity behind the newly acquired property, coupled with Charlotte’s desire to have a place to call home is the reason why she is moving to Stillwater.  Being in a world with internet and modern transportation eased Charlotte’s decision to work from home away from the bustle and distraction of big city operations.  Indeed, the remoteness was another bonus in facilitating her exclusive client’s needs and the pursuit of her personal interests.
