Olo Jin (Chief Steward)

Olo Jin is the Steward aboard the Marathon. The chief steward directs, instructs, and assigns personnel performing such functions as preparing and serving meals; cleaning and maintaining officers' quarters and steward department areas; and receiving, issuing, and inventorying stores. He is a skilled broker of military goods, and formerly a sales manager with the Elkoss Combine.

Jin recently applied for military service within the Vol Protectorate using his considerable resources to land an important position within the Protectorate's procurement department. Jin served aboard the Kwunu, the Protectorate's only dreadnought, and was able to leverage his superiors to have him assigned to the SSV Marathon.

While aboard the Marathon, Jin has been given the rank of Serviceman 2nd class, a number of steps down from his previous position aboard the Kwunu, but a necessary step because of the apples-to-oranges nature of the Alliance's rank structure and that of the Vol Protectorate.
