bio: Jantus has a military career spanning back to before the Relay 314 incident. Starting out as an infantryman, Jantus showed a combination of cunning, perseverance, and occasionally somewhat scary determination that saw him progress through the ranks at a respectable rate.

His determination, combined with his ability to work well alone and take initiative, got him a place in the Turian Special Forces, where he did a variety of "first strike" preventative ops. During a rather nasty riot on Palaven, Jantus was badly injured, and was granted cybernetic restructuring.  Over time, Boralus added a great many more cybernetics, some of them from the black market

Between his advanced age and somewhat unsettling cybernetics fixation, the Hierarchy heavily encouraged Boralus to retire. Boralus, on hearing about Project Unity, expressed great interest in the project, and requested to be brought aboard.
