Fenella is a lean young woman of slightly above average height, with long brown hair and a noticeable tan. Her father died in a hunting accident and her mother killed herself from grief when she was very young, a dramatic sequence of events which may have unbalanced her somewhat; she is known to be rather moody, distant and eccentric. Then again it might just be her nature, together with the strange dreams that she gets. Having been taken in by the clan's lore keeper, she became his apprentice and assistant, gradually taking over more of the old woman's more physically demanding duties and helping her gather ingredients, which may be how she got her tan. She is not a complete outcast but she can be rather tactless and abrasive, and has a rather morbid sense of humour. Although she studies the clan traditions fervently, in her mind, the past is past and present pains are transient. One shouldn't ignore either, but neither is an end in itself.
