Clothing: Tunic style leather clothing and trousers. A leather poncho like covering that can be worn around the neck or pulled up as a hood and face covering.




History: Born to a small nomadic clan that survived by wandering the forests foraging and hunting as well as scavenging or raiding during the winter months, Ruaric was raised away from any form of modern technology save for weapons. When he was old enough to walk he was given a childs bow and knife and taught to hunt and live from the land. At the age of seven he began spending nights alone in the forest to test his skills. After several years he performed the coming of age ceremony for the clan whereby he would spend a year in the deep woods. It was a hard and bitter year and he made contact with several clans during his wanderings and even performed a few stealthy raids on some during the worst times in winter. When he went in search of his clan he discovered that it had dispersed and its name was only muttered as a curse word by the other clans. While he had been in the woods Ruarics father who was a Bren'in had convinced the majority of the clan to leave the mountains in search of an easier, more comfortable life. the members of the clan that remained either returned to clans with relatives in or joined new ones completely.

Ruaric tried to join several clans but was soundly rejected or mistreated due to the stigma from his parents actions. Ruaric spent his formative years wandering the forests and trading with the other mountain clans and often acts as a messenger or courier between them. He is considered something of an oddity and a wanderer with no fixed clan or place in the mountain clans though his talents are impressive and his knowledge of the deep woods and mountain extensive. Some of the clans have recently considered extending an invitation to Ruaric but the deliberations are extensive and lengthy as there are many that do not want their clan to be associated with the son of a Losty.
