Anunir son of Aurion is a Ranger, one of the Dunedain of the North. He is tall (particularly compared to a company of dwarves and hobbits), broad, and dark-haired, with cold blue eyes set in a perpetual frown. He carries a worn longbow and a large, ornate sword slung across his back. Most of his clothing is rough, torn, and stained with mud, but he keeps his sword well-maintained, and the silver signet ring on his left hand is at least a little polished.
