Paladin was a Took, something that was a source of pride. He didn't mind the queer looks he sometimes got from other Hobbits, it seemed that odd-ness was something in his blood. He was a little shorter than some Hobbits, just a few inches over three feet, but he stood tall wherever he went. It was rare that he wasn't seen with a smile on his face, one that hinted at his mischievous nature. While traveling or hunting, he slung his bow across his body, with his quiver on one hip and a small blade on the other. Paladin was a noted archer in the Shire. Some said he carried a ancient bow of good quality that had been passed down from generation to generation.
