Jaedrel is the eldest daughter of the old Matron Mother and now rules house Zauthril. While her mother was considered to be a great beauty in her prime, the same is not said of Jaedrel. In fact, vicious rumors have been spread that her father was not only common born, but must have been part human. Jaedrel's face is rather square, her nose too blunt and large, her hips are wide, her build lacks the grace and finesse so common in noble born drow women. Her eyes are a deep brown, not unheard of in drow, but not the common blood red.

Yet these all nothing but rumors, and no one dares to speak of them in her presence. Whatever her heritage might be or not be, she was accepted by Lolth as a priestess, and she is now the Matron Mother of a noble house. And while her appearance might have some traits associated with humans, her personality is most certainly drow. Jaedrel delights to see others suffer, she's vindictive, cruel and greedy. She is a far more straight forward ruler than her mother ever was. While her mother was fond of intricate plans and clever schemes, Jaedrel prefers to deal with her problems head on. Some of her sisters find this habit quite troublesome, but there's no denying that with her ample strength and considerable power, Jaedrel has brought down the challenges she's faced so far. And she plans to rule even longer than her mother did, and bring the house to an even greater glory.
