Thraele Zauthril (Level 10 cleric of Lolth, 139 years, available)

Thraele is the third daughter of the old matron mother, and in appearance she looks much like her mother as well her sister Drisinil, the only exception being that Thraele has violet eyes, which is far more rare than the red of her mother and sister. Her personality used to be similar to Drisinil as well. She delighted in trickery and deceit, in playing the power games so common among the drow. She considered herself the best choice to one day take over from their mother.

But everything changed 21 years ago, she was leading a patrol of house Zauthril, no trouble was expected, but their mother wished her daughters to have experience leading men into battle. The patrol came afoul of a group of Illithids, the dreaded mindflayers of the underdark. Thraele was knocked unconscious during the battle and subjugated to the will of the mind flayers, forced to live in their city and act as a common servant. For two years she lived there, with no will of her own, forced to bow and kneel and obey the hideous tentacled monsters.

But after two years, during a battle where the Illithids send all capable slaves into battle, Thraele was able to free herself from the mind control of the terrible creatures. Though weakened from her experience, she managed to return to the city, and reclaim a position in her house. But while she might serve the house again. She seems to have lost all ambition, well aware that nobody would ever follow or trust someone who allowed themselves to be subjugated for so long. So she haunts the halls of house Zauthril, while she herself is haunted by the memories of all that happened while her mind was not her own. Even her sisters seem to ignore her, as if she is no longer worth consideration as a threat.
