Miz'ri

Miz'ri Zauthril, Level 3 Cleric / Level 5 Druid, 121 years

Miz'ri is the second youngest daughter born to the former Matron, being only 2 years older than Ahlysaaria and her twin brother. She is a bit shorter than average, and on the lean side due to her recent lifestyle. She wears clothing of deep forest green, a contrast to the blacks an purples preferred by most drow. Her eyes stick out as the less common violet, though in the right light they even appear as blue. She wears her patrol gear nearly everywhere, even when it is frowned upon. Her armor has an intricate forest and web design on it, and her shield is shaped like a large spider.

Growing up in the house was no easy feat for the young drow. She often broke the rules by sneaking out of their house compound, for which she was nearly disowned. The Matron finally had enough of her truancy and called for Miz'ri to be brought before her upon the return of the young drow. Only one thing saved Miz'ri that day, something she had found while outside the city, down one of the less traveled paths. Lloth had blessed her with a guardian, a sign of her favor. Right behind Miz'ri was a jet black spider the size of a large drow. Whenever someone came too close to Miz'ri, the spider would begin to crunch his teeth and gesture frantically with his front two legs. With such a display, it was nearly impossible for Miz'ri to be punished, at least in the traditional sense.

The Matron used the sign as grounds that Miz'ri was ready to move to Arach-Tinilith for formal training in their order. Miz'ri knew better than to protest, and that Arach-Tinilith would be far less lenient than her mother had been. While learning there she did quite well with their lessons, though she found she enjoyed the company of Telmar, her spider guardian, much more than that of her classmates. She graduated quickly, her time outside the city helped her immensely once they began leading patrols.

This success led her to be selected to scout for slaving missions and to spy on their surface cousins. Miz'ri suspected her mother had something to do with this as well since it conveniently kept her away from the house, but she has no proof to that effect. Several years of great success has led to her recall to the city, possibly to teach the survival course at Arach-Tinilith if the whispers are to be believed.
