Elvithra'riina Zauthril has a passing resemblance to the former Matron Mother, Sauphrina Zauthril. Elvithra'riina is the daughter of Sauphrina's younger sister Iljrene Zauthril and the Chad Nasad nobleman Q'arlynd Melarn.

She often dressed in her father's mithril shirt and used her mother's mithril buckler, since both died in the fall of Chad Nasad. She has since made herself useful to the current Matron Mother
