Description
Dark and almost lanky in form, Jayanti tends to provoke both attraction and aversion in fairly even measure, some finding her alluring and exotic while others tend to perceive her features as unsettling and intimidating. Her ears and sharp nails leave little question to what she is; catfolk plain and true, but she stands apart from the typical catfolk in a few ways.
She's quite tall for one of her kind, and her dark skin is patterned with even darker stripes. Indeed, her skin is hairless, save for the ears and her hair atop her head. Jayanti's eyes are slitted and glint in the dark much as a cat's do, more vividly than the average catfolk, the look of a true predator compared to a tame housecat. On cursory inspection, she appears to be absent her tail, though a closer look reveals that it seems to have been severed at some point in the past, and its remaining nub tends to be covered by the slight tail of her typical attire. What's left of her tail is lightly furred, matching her ears in color and tone.
Jayanti typically dresses in snug-fit silk, designed with a dense weave suitable only for modest protection against the lightest of arms, though she appears to be more than capable of defending herself without the crutch of heavier armor, and indeed, it would likely only slow down her sinuous, feline grace. Her body is lean and almost overly thin, though her chest is moderately developed relative to her size, her fine silk attire typically drawn tight against her bust to restrain it, given her active nature.
She typically keeps most of her actual magical equipment with her, wherever she goes. These include a coiled leather whip of incredibly fine make, with a subtle, biting magic to it, which she calls 'name here' . She also possesses a distinctive cats-eye jewel that seems vaguely similar to Oread fleshgems, save that this one seems happy to affix itself to the center of her forehead, and it shares the same glinting glow as her eyes. The rest of her magical gear tends to be fairly unobtrusive, save her tiger-striped shield.
