Warren is tall with a solid build. His hair and skin betray his strong Irish ancestry; he is a mix of Irish, Spanish, and Chinese descent. He has a number of small scars from his violent past.

Warren wears comfortable clothing in dark colors. The tattoos on his left arm are usually concealed by his shirt. He wears a polished basalt ring with brass inlay on his right ring finger and is rarely without his black leather fingerless gloves.

Background
Warren grew up poor and living in a worn trailer home. His father was usually drunk so Warren was raised more by his mother. In school, Warren was usually in trouble and did poorly outside of shop and gym. Between his frequent fights and his mother’s growing illness, Warren dropped out of high school and went to work. That summer, Warren came home to find his drunken father beating his mother. Warren’s anger and fear erupted as FIRE. He burned his father to death in a moment and started the trailer on fire. He pulled his mother to safety and ran. Days later he was found by Aaron Boyce, Warden of the White Council. Aaron sponsored Warren and saved him from execution. Warren studied as Aaron’s apprentice for years learning to control his evocations and his temper.

Burning Knight
When Warren hears that homeless children are going missing, he looks into it. With his usual subtle style, he discovers that a small group of Red Court vampires is feeding on the homeless population.

When the supernatural slaughter began, he stepped in and defended the innocent. He stood as a human door blocking passage to the room where a dozen or so children were. Battered, cut, and burned Warren refused to step aside or back down.

But can he survive when it is revealed that the Black Court was simply using the Red as a front and scapegoat?

When vandals are causing trouble for a local Methodist church, Branwen Isaacs steps in. When she discovers that Lukas Holtz, a minor sorcerer, is manipulating the vandals in an attempt to corrupt and weaken the faith and power of the church, she calls in Warren Reese to provide her with the muscle needed to scare him off. Warren takes the time to explain the Laws to Lukas and exactly what happens when you break them.

When Musashi's quest brings him to Columbia, South Carolina, he discovers an unlikely ally in Warren Reese. When Musashi is attacked by a number of Renfields, Warren destroys the attackers and reveals that they were sent by Ivanka Polsky, a Black Court Matriarch. Somehow she is involved in the shadowy web that opposes Musashi.

Notes
Warren Reese lives in a nice mobile home in the Palmetto Palms Mobile Home Park in Columbia, South Carolina. It has two bedrooms and one and a half bathrooms. He has built himself a small attached patio with a BBQ pit.

His small parking area is usually occupied by his rebuilt Ural Motorcycle with sidecar. But there is room for a small truck if needed.

Warren lives by himself, but his girlfriend does spend the night sometimes. While Harper has no magical ability herself, she is clued in and aware of Warren's abilities. She is fascinated by magic and magical creatures. Warren worries that her interest will get her into trouble so he takes care to watch out for her.

Warren's mother lives in a care facility. When Warren killed his father, her mind couldn't accept what had happened and protected her by dissociating from reality. Warren visits her several times a month. Much of his income goes to supporting her.
