There's the standard mental image of tech-priests, then there's Maria. For one, tech-priests generally don't call their servitors Senior Stumpy. Nor are they particularly fond of cursing in their strange hive-cant. No, Maria is an odd one. But she's always been something of an oddball when it comes to those that worship the Omnissiah.

Like all of her kind, she wears her red robes proudly. It's there that most of the similarities end. She'd never much been one for replacing all of her functionalities with metal, much less any of her face. Especially her mouth. Tasting all the delicious food she makes is hard without a tongue. Really, she looks entirely human. Even her hands.

Dark skin, darker eyes, and black hair. She'd likely be quite pretty if she wasn't almost always muttering and cursing over some piece of equipment or mechanical part. At least it almost always smelled good around her, faintly of machine oil and spices.
